In this episode of our podcast we talked with songwriter Mr. Paul Richmond. The Grammy-nominated producer/songwriter/bassist/performer Paul Richmond has performed and/or recorded with R&B singer Tyrone Davis, the groups Champaign, the Impressions, and the Five Stairsteps, and contributed guitar on the Independents' 1973 number one R&B/number 21 pop hit "Leaving Me". He also penned one of The Manhattans’  biggest hits, “Shining Star” that went platinum.  It was an impromptu call by Steve, and thank goodness Mr. Richmond was available.  We had a great conversation with him.  We also saluted The Great Howlin' Wolf.  Steve is Wolf’s nephew and has lots of information about him.  So enjoy our first podcast of 2022.
